Type Of School This is a Church in Wales voluntary controlled school. It is a day, bilingual, co-educational school. We are a small, rural school with a happy and friendly environment, where each child is given the opportunity to develop according to his or her own ability and receive the utmost support that the teachers can offer. The school is divided into three classes, Miss Griffith’s class of nursery and reception children every morning. Miss Parry teaches years 1 and 2 each morning, then in the afternoon they are joined with the reception pupils. Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 are taught by Mrs Jones. To ensure that the pupils always receive the best education, the teachers make the most of their own personal curricular teaching strengths, which are shared, within the school. It is the school's belief that parents play on extremely important and constructive role in their child's development. An "open day" policy exists at the school, an arrangement by which following obtaining an appointment agreeable to the parents and the school, it is possible to visit the school to discuss their child's development. School's admission policy According to the current county policy, we will be admitting children full time in September following their 4th birthday, and part time in September following their 3rd birthday.
